"No matter how much falls on us, we keep plowing ahead. That's the only way to keep the roads clear." - Greg Kincaid
Everyone of
us is aware that the Philippines is one of the most natural hazard-prone
countries in the world. This is due to its location along the Ring of
Fire, or typhoon belt – a large Pacific Ocean region where many of Earth's
volcanic eruptions and earthquakes occur. As a countrymen, how does
Filipinos respond to these kind of disasters? Do they let these ruin
and totally destroy their lives?
This
country has suffered an inexhaustible number of catastrophic events such as typhoons, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, etc. However,
one of the best traits that Filipinos have is that they keep on being strong.
After a terrible phenomenon, they tend to wear a smile and face these
struggles. The Government tend to lead and address these terrible disasters for the country's betterment.
Everyone must always be ready and prepared because disasters can happen anytime and anywhere.
